    Yoga For Newbies: Yoga Poses For Beginners

    If you are completely new to yoga or starting yoga for the first time, then there are many yoga poses for beginners which you need to learn, so that you can do yoga easily. Then whether you are doing yoga in a yoga class or home or doing yoga in your office chair. Yoga is a complete science. It unites body, mind, soul and the universe. It provides peace and joy to every person. It also brings significant changes in a person’s behavior, thoughts and attitude. Daily practice of yoga increases our inner peace, sensitivity, intuition and awareness.

    It is sometimes not possible to tell everything in brief because more than 300 asanas have been mentioned in yoga science. But to perform these asanas, the body has to adapt to them. The beginning of these asanas is said to be of great importance to begin the yoga journey of a yogi. That is why in this article I will give you information about 5 yoga poses for beginners. If you keep doing these asanas regularly for a month or two, it will prepare your body and mind for practicing other yogasanas.

    Here is the list of Yoga poses for beginners

    1. Vrikshasana / Tree Pose
      Vrikshasana is an excellent yoga posture for beginners, standing like a tree and balancing it. This asana helps the yogi to increase focus and regain balance. During the practice of this asana, you learn to balance the breaths and also balance the body on one leg. This asana helps strengthen you from the core.
    2. Paschimottanasana / Seated Forward Bend Pose

    Paschimottanasana is the most important posture of yoga science. This asana is performed by sitting and leaning towards the front. By practicing this, the hamstrings, lower and upper back as well as the sides also get good stretch. Paschimottanasana is the best posture for every yogi who has recently started practicing yoga.

    1. Setu Bandhasana / Bridge Pose

    Sethu Bandhasana is, in effect, the opposite posture of the Adhomukha Shwansana. In the downward facing dog, where the body is tilted forward. At the same time in the Setu Bandhasana, the body is tilted backwards. This asana is considered the best for those yogis who have recently started practicing yoga.

    1. Child’s Pose
      After doing yoga, there is a situation when the yogi needs rest. In such a state, yogis practice balasana to get rest and to relieve body fatigue. Balasana is the best posture not only of beginners but of yogis of every level. To perform child pose you need to kneel on the floor with your toes together and your knees hip-width apart and rest your palms on top of your thighs. On an exhale, bend your torso between your knees by extending your arms alongside your torso with your palms facing down. Relax your shoulders toward the ground. Rest in the pose for as long as you want to relax.
    2. Ardha Chandrasana
      Ardha Chandrasana As the name suggests, in this asana the body is rotated in the shape of half moon. This can be performed while standing. All you need to do is bend your upper half of the body as much as you can to the left and right side alternatively. This asana is beneficial for the whole body.

    After practicing these yoga poses for beginners you will be ready to take yourself to next level in yoga. You will regain new strength and peace within. Yoga is considered very important for healthy life. Often people think that yoga is done only to make the body flexible, but it is not so. There are many postures of yoga such as postures of yoga for weight loss, postures of yoga for glowing skin, and many more.
